The Story

With its carved stone columns, lintels, balustrades, against the rich ochre colored plaster facade and red terra cotta roof tiles throughout the Villa, the authenticity of the design and detailing is apparent and you are greeted with an old world Tuscan Villa. Having been invited in through a stone columned arched portico to the front entry door of Mahogany, glass, and iron. Once inside one is connect to the 3 main formal interior, and 1 formal exterior spaces: The formal Entry/Stair Hall, with stone columned arches at each end accessing the formal Living/Library, with a 8′ wainscot, and Dining Room, with a large leaded glass North window. The Entry Hall also French Door access the formal South Lawn Terrace and Fountain.  Beyond you find the pool and spa that are set in a formal aesthetic, but with an informal use. Off of the Dining and the Stair Hall are connections to the 3 main informal interior, and multiple informal exterior spaces. The informal areas of the Villa are designed around food and family with its large interior open area, with a large 2 island Kitchen with Butlers’ Pantry, Family Room with large stone fireplace and Bar all leading to a large covered Loggia with bbq, lounging, and exterior dining. 

La Toscana

La Toscana is set high on a hill overlooking the rural farmlands of central California with distant mountains as their backdrop. Entering through large stone pilasters and iron Gates, up a long stone driveway and old citrus grove, to a large gravel Motor Court sets the perfect sets the perfect introduction to La Toscana.

Subsequent additions to the property have added to these outdoor area with a Pizza Oven Pavilion, covered Trellis Dining space, Bocce Court, Fire-pit, Olive Grove
