History
A Legacy of design
Design has been part of the Bryant family for nearly a century, beginning with Carl Bryant’s grandfather’s graduation from the Cornell University School of Architecture in 1917. His mother later became an interior designer and founded her own award-winning A.S.I.D. firm, further shaping a family tradition rooted in craft and creativity.
After gaining professional experience across a range of project types, Carl returned to his passion for residential design and relocated to the Santa Barbara and Montecito area in 1985. He founded Bryant Design Studio in 1994, and for more than four decades has designed custom homes ranging from intimate renovations to large estate properties, each approached with the same attention to detail and care.
