El Atiro

Named for the featured central Atrium, The front façade is not grandiose but, true to its style, it obscures its more grand nature from public view. “El Atrio” with it’s thick white plastered walls, Spanish tile roof, terra cotta tile floors, dark stained wood beams, iron and wood cantilevered balconies, draws you in from the street to a central arched alcove and wood plank Entry door.

The Journey

The house the facade hides the Centeral Atrium until one is invited into the Entry/Stair Hall with a straight direct connection to a large centered fountain in the Atrium. You are drawn in with the large fountain that fills the courtyard and the home itself with its soothing sound of water. The Atrium is the main hub of all the entertaining spaces in the house allowing great flow between all of the spaces. After the Entry/Stair Hall the rest of the spaces are set as room to room transitions thus eliminating hallways. With this, the main floor becomes an incredible entertaining space for large gatherings……. Let the party begin!!
